La Cappadocia se’ns queda petita i em decidit fotre el camp cap a Afyon, i només agafar la furgo, preguntem a un paio en anglés sobre com anar-hi i el paio de cop i en castellà ens diu, “yo voy a un lugar de camino. Me llevais?”
Un tio d’uns 47 anys, amb pinta de ligón, cabells canosos llargs, d’origen turc i que parlava castellà perfectament. No feia més que parlar i riure, molt simpatic. Quan l’hem deixat a puestu, ens ha dit que fessim un te amb ell i el té ha acabat en un parell de tés per barba i en un resum de la seva vida. Un paio que ha viscut 12 anys a espanya. Gijón, Gandia, Pais Vasc, Costa Brava, etc… un personatge, que s’ho passava genial i que ens ha acabat explicant histories genials, de que s’havia fet passar per un princep gitano de Turquia, que havia estat fent de ligón a les discoteques de canet de mar, etc…
Tot un person.
Després hem engaltat cap a Konya (ciutat i ex-capital), i allà després del 219 kms des de Göreme hem parat a una benzinera, on l’encarregat ens ha agafat carinyo i ens ha convidat a un té, ens ha fet un mapa de com arribar a Afyon y ens ha fet un llista de cantants tipics turcs, iranis, siris, etc… (videos al youtube inclosos).  Un altre majo al camí.
Després vinga a fer kms, Anna al volante, cada cop millorem més, ara ja no m’agafo a la maneta de damunt la porta quan fa una curva.
I ara estem a Afyon, horrible, lleig, feo feo, pero encara l’hem arreglat quan hem vist el casc antic que demà visitarem amb més ganes, perque com diu l’Anna, a Turquia es fa de nit massa de dia.
Acabem de descobrir un mega peñón damunt del nostre cap, una muntanya de roca inmensa que demà, amb l’ajut de l’asma, pujarem.
El dia no ha donat per massa més, pq a la carretera després de 400 kms se’t fa monoton tot. Des dels que circulen pel teu arcen venint de cara fins els ciclistes que a les pujades s’agafen a qualsevol pal que sobresurt d’un camió per remuntar.
Una gasolinera cada mig km (en cada sentit) i uns preus de diesel de 1,60 euros litro, et donen ganes de suicidar-te quan omples el diposit de la furgoneta. 120,00 euros de res. Cagun los jeques árabes i el petrodolar.
